Holistic health is an approach to life. Rather than focusing on an illness or specific part of the body, it is an approach to health that considers the whole person and how he or she interacts with his or her environment. It emphasizes the connection of mind, body, and spirit.

Energy Medicine Energy Medicine is a therapy that uses gentle, hands-on techniques to discover deeper causes of disease and work to balance the body's subtle energy system in order to create optimal conditions for self-healing and well-being. I also use intuitive skills (visions, feelings, and my trained hands) to journey with in the unseen physiology of the body and restore energy flow.
Health Coaching I specifically use my skills as a nurse health coach to create goals and focus on actions that can be done to get better and live a more fulfilling life. I will not lecture about eating hamburgers or that chocolate bar. I will not cheer lead on the latest exercise program. I work with each individual to find tools and small shifts in habits that fit a balanced lifestyle and encourage a long-term goal of continuous growth and healing.
Herbal Medicine There are various ways to use plants for healing that can be incorporated into the healing work that I do. Sometimes it is a simple tea, tincture, or aromatherapy. I recommend herbs as a vitalist approach to healing where the plants used are based on the energy system analysis and for emotional support. They are not taken as a substitute for prescriptions. I also teach and encourage use of herbs in a seasonal way as part of a healthy lifestyle.
